RETAIL SPECIALIST

Job Summary

The Stock Associate helps make sure merchandise is received, stocked, organized, priced correctly, and available for customers throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Stock beverages, snacks, grocery items, automotive products, travel merchandise, and other store inventory.
• Receive and organize incoming deliveries.
• Rotate merchandise using proper inventory rotation procedures.
• Check expiration dates and remove damaged or expired merchandise.
• Keep shelves, coolers, displays, and storage areas organized.
• Maintain clean and orderly walk-in coolers and stockrooms.
• Build and maintain promotional displays.
• Make sure products are properly faced and presented to customers.
• Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products.
• Assist with inventory counts when required.
• Break down boxes and properly dispose of packaging.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Physical Requirements:
• Regular standing and walking.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise and cases of product.
• Comfortable working inside coolers and stock areas.

Qualifications

• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work efficiently and safely.
• Previous grocery, convenience store, warehouse, stocking, or retail experience is helpful but not required.
