Job Summary
The Shower Attendant is responsible for keeping our driver shower facilities exceptionally clean, stocked, and ready for the next customer. This is an important customer-service position because professional drivers depend on us to provide clean and comfortable facilities while they are on the road. The right person understands that "clean enough" isn’t enough. We want someone who takes pride in making sure every shower room is clean, stocked, and ready for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize shower rooms after each use.
- Clean showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, floors, and fixtures.
- Replace towels and other supplies as needed.
- Inspect each shower room before releasing it for the next customer.
- Keep hallways, waiting areas, and nearby restrooms clean.
- Collect used towels and handle laundry according to established procedures.
- Monitor supplies and notify management when products need to be reordered.
- Report plumbing, lighting, HVAC, or other maintenance problems.
- Respond quickly when shower rooms need to be turned over.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Assist with general travel center cleaning when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Able to stay productive without constant supervision.
- Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties.
- Able to bend, reach, stand, and walk throughout the shift.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or truck-stop experience is helpful but not required.
